As part of the acquisition, a new £400,000 Digital Hub is set to be created in Liverpool city centre, generating new roles with plans already in place to expand the workforce by more than double its current number.

Discussing the deal, KMS Managing Director, Emlyn Cole-Jones, stated: “We are delighted to bring the people and skills from Carrot Computer into KMS and see this as a really exciting development for the business and our customers. This acquisition will reinforce our existing software expertise, whilst the new Digital Hub gives us a important presence in the growing tech hub of Liverpool.

“Work has already begun on our own digital signage platform, with more products in the pipeline to create a range of solutions to empower customer experiences all over the world..”

Carrot Computer Managing Director, Alan Adesalu who will take the role of Technical Director at KMS said “Working with KMS for a number of years already, we know it is an extremely progressive business with a high degree of agility. This made the move a perfect fit for us. We have brought over our existing product catalogue of retail solutions which will be taken to new heights with the huge investment into our new Digital Hub in Liverpool.”

Looking forward, Emlyn added "As a combined business, we have a platform for growth and an opportunity to create a truly market leading organisation”.
